What is Regenerative Medicine?

The dictionary uses words like regrowth, repair, restoration, reproduction, replacement …of lost or injured parts.

Dr Pitsilis likes to think that she helps to restore and repair damaged or lost cells, function and ability. She is restoring health and quality of life to that person, generally via attention to lifestyle and biochemical imbalance.

Wherever possible, all the traditional methods are used for health problems, but when Dr Pitsilis needs more options, these treatments can make a real difference to a persons quality of life.

In the cosmetic area, the clinic been exposed to many Regenerative Medicine technologies that we have ended up also using for chronic illness.

Our two clinics have come to the point where we think it makes more sense for us to have an overarching title encompassing both clinics. Dr Pitsilis is constantly doing a lot of research and also uses these treatments on both sides of the clinic.

So we have decided to give ourselves the major title of Regenerative Medicine Institute. We do indeed use and bring into the clinic scientifically based innovative therapies, so we think the title describes us well.

We have several more advanced forms of Regenerative Medicine that are not generally available.
